Reading Stephen King’s Pet Sematary while being a father to two young kids is absolutely devastating.

What was one of the most memorable moments on your writing journey?

I am going to finish this next book because my six-year-old daughter said she wants to grow up and write books like her daddy.

My daughter’s kindergarten class wrote a class book about what they want to be when they grow up.

Today was the “book release” party.

My daughter read her page and said, “When I grow up, I want to write books like my dad.”

I literally sobbed.
