Mentor Camp was a blast! New mentors in grade 10 and 11 spent two days with the grade 12 mentors, 8 Loyola staff & the camp counsellors at YMCA Cedar Glen camp! Thanks to Ms Cheal and Mr Mojica for putting it all together! Great lessons, memories and stories to share! #GoHawks

A whirlwind 5 day trip to Washington DC for students from our history department! The Black History Museum, Holocaust Museum, tour of the Capital building, SPY Museum, mass at St. Patrick’s, evening tour of the monuments and tour of Arlington Cemetery! Great students & learning!

Last week Loyola Robotics team attended the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston TX. Congrats to all our team members for their work & we also want to recognize our Gr 12’s that are now FIRST Alumni.

We were so thrilled to celebrate Jeslove for being chosen by SEAC as the Spirit of Inclusion Award winner!
Trustees, SO’s, the Director of Education, and Loyola staff were there to celebrate with her and her family! What a great leader in our school! So proud of you Jeslove!

The women arrived to mourn at Jesus’ tomb and found the rock had been rolled away! It wasn’t moved to let Jesus out! It was moved to let the women and the apostles in. It was open to let all of us in for all of eternity! Because of Jesus, death died a long time ago! Happy Easter!

It wasn’t a good Friday for an innocent man, who lived peace, love and kindness. He just wanted people to be closer to His Dad. Today we remember Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. He took the cross, pain, and humiliation for us! Above all, it was you and me He thought of and died for…

Today is the beginning of the end for Jesus’ week of great sacrifice! Today He’s a rock star, riding into Jerusalem on a donkey and a few days later, He’ll be killed on a cross. We are fickle people, us humans. People are built up, only to be torn down. Jesus knows that pain too!

After a sold out performance that made everyone laugh and lean in for some truly dramatic moments in the play THE AUDITION, Arts Loyola Live hits the competitive stage at 7 pm tonight at MM Robinson for the NTS Drama Festival! Break a leg cast and crew!!

Our winner from our School Council’s Annual Trivia Night is team “I THOUGHT THIS WAS SPEED DATING”. It was a great night, lots of laughs & money raised! School Council will now support our Loyola students with the money in all different ways! Thanks everyone for your support!
