I have been participating in a lot of forums lately. New Hope Baptist Church was on Thursday, and Dallas Democratic Forum was on Friday.

We won Election Day and lost early voting. In the end we came within just 4,840 votes of beating Brown outright.

Key factor in our coming out 6,000 votes short in early voting was Jon Wiley Price. He turned out 18,000 votes in early voting!

Brown - 41.96%
Lupe - 37.77%

Today we honor the work of Dr. King. Let us all show reverence and commitment to his fight for justice that continues to hold firm to this day.
