This #FallenHeroesDay we commemorate all of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Today we take the time to remember the brave police, firefighters, and first responders who laid down their lives in service to others.

Today, the Maryland flag is lowered to half staff for #FallenHeroesDay .

Our police, firefighters, first responders, and all who have lost their lives in the line of duty embody the spirit of service that we strive for. And through acts of heroism, they have elevated our state.

Held at Maryland Police and Correctional Training Center, family and DPSCS staff gathered to celebrate the commencement ceremony of 34 new graduates who will be working in institutions across the state!

Thanks to Maryland Correctional Enterprises (MCE) and PIVOT, the first cohort of incarcerated ladies at the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women (MCIW) completed Re-entry and Coping With the Effects of Trauma group program. The MCE ladies graduated on April 10th🎓💜

🎉 The Hagerstown Regional Academy Graduation was held in celebration of Class 24-02H for completing their Correctional Entrance Level Training!

DPSCS recognizes #APAHM month as a time to celebrate the culture, strength, and diversity of Asian American Pacific Islander Communities🏝️🌏

The Re-entry and Transitional Services team conducted a resource fair at Metropolitan Transition Center (MTC) in Baltimore!

This resource fair was the first held at MTC, with 25 vendors prepared to offer resources for those who are returning home soon.👏
