Ilford Town Ward officers carried out a VAWG stall outside Ilford BR Station today. We spoke to many local residents and members of the public about their safety in the area. Many positive comments.

Ilford Town Ward PCSO Naz conducted a weapon sweep at Heron Mews and engaged with local residents. Positively No Weapons were found.

Ilford Town ward officers visited Issac Newton School in Ilford High Road and carried out foot patrol around the car park and surrounding areas.
No issues or concerns were brought to our attention .

Ilford Town Ward Officers conducted crime prevention stall/talks at Barclays bank Ilford High Road. We engaged with members of public on how to stay alert and stay safe.we also spoken to the Staff on how to spot a theif.

Ilford Town ward officers will be taking part assisting volunteer police cadets carrying out a TP operation in the Town centre where we will be identifying areas affected by littering and they will use their free time to make Ilford cleaner

Ilford Town Ward Police Team officers have attended Valentines House to carry out Voilence against women surveys and also speaking to residents about there concerns in the area.

Pc DALY has just arrested a prolific thief who stole a charity box from a local coffee shop. Thanks to the efforts of the local CCTV team we managed to track him to a local street. He was further arrested for a burglary in the Town Centre. He will face the courts in the morning.

This Morning your town centre police team have policed a protest in the town centre which went without incident.

Officers from Ilford Town ward have attended Balfour House on the high road and have seen two males in fire exit entrance, who did not reside there and were searched under s23 Misuse of drugs act and removed from the area.

This Morning your Town Centre Team have arrested a violent offender for breaching his court imposed conditions. He will be in custody with us until tomorrow morning.

What a great turnout at Al Bayan Mosque today. They were very welcoming and had engaged with the senior management team. Engagement is very important to us and we wish to keep a relationship with our community.

Ilford Town ward had been visiting regularly a problematic area in piper way, de Havilland Square in relation to rough sleeping in the communal bins. After multiple police visits and the building management securing the bins, we had come to a good result.

Today Ilford Town ward PCSO Naz will be visiting Al Bayan Mosque on Green Lane with the community leader Mr sheikh. We will be engaging with the females and locals on how we can improve to upkeep their safety in the area and to build trust .

Ilford Town ward and Ilford Town centre team had met up with councillor Jas Atwal on Ilford high road, and had patrolled the area highlighting and identifying areas to improve and problem solving .
