Knife crime is an issue on our streets, and has a devastating impact on the communities we police.

This week, our officers are working specifically on knife crime, as part of our efforts to tackle violence in the Capital.

Drink spiking and predatory behaviour are serious offences.

Our officers have been delivering Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement training to venues in the West End to empower staff so they know what to do if they see something suspicious or if a drink has been spiked.

🚔We worked with AW MPSSpecials, Westminster City Council parking officers and Roads & Transport MPS to tackle issues of anti social behaviour and parking in the area.

Amazing shift with West End Team 5. 2 males searched and arrested early on for theft with @btp!

Later, we helped our proactive and response teams to find and arrest 2 males involved in a watch robbery.

Property now back with the victim. A male known to us also arrested! #Soho

Yesterday our Community Engagement team & Westminster LFB crews joined the local community at a remembrance service for the 25th anniversary of the Soho Nail Bombing

With those targeted all from minority groups, the anniversary was a moment to acknowledge London’s rich diversity

Thanks to the Metropolitan Police who laid a wreath outside the Admiral Duncan this morning to mark the 25th anniversary of the nail bomb attack that killed three people here and injured many more.

We appreciate you standing with us and all those affected by these awful attacks today.
