The @USAirForce’s Air Demonstration Team Thunderbirds headlines the Tampa Bay AirFest at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. The event featured a variety of military and civilian flight performances aimed at inspiring the next generation of military aviators.

A burrowing owl is released at MacDill AFB, March 14. The airfield at MacDill is home to one of the only known colonies of burrowing owls in the Tampa Bay area and is an ideal location for rehabilitated owls to acclimate back in the wild.

U.S. service members participate in a Norwegian Foot March at MacDill AFB, March 14-15. The overnight event featured an 18.6 mile course where each member carried a 24 pound rucksack.
