Common wall lizard. Entertaining to watch these little reptiles scurry around the field site in Spain. They're pretty bold so you can get quite close to them.

Great to do some fieldwork as part of my PhD, looking at parental age effects in field crickets. After working on Gryllus bimaculatus in the lab, it's been really interesting to compare them to G. campestris (which is found at the study site in Spain). UofG_SBOHVM IAPETUS DTP
