Having HYWEL ROBERTS😀🦈 at BSB this week has been joyful. From exploring the impact of an offshore wind farm on marine animals to protecting insects from curious little children who like to catch and move them, to just making our staff roar with laughter, it's been a blast.

I'm ony part way through Alex Quigley but already plenty of insights highlighted/underlined eg

'In order to develop deep and broad foundations of prior knowledge, pupils need to read, read and read some more.'

Next year, I, and others, will have 1 day off every fortnight with no reduction in pay and with the same level of PPA.

This is such a step in the right direction for us as teachers and it serves as a model for other schools to follow
