Nice Medscape article by Miriam E. Tucker, with quotes from Giles Yeo, describing my recent paper on the physiology of the weight loss plateau that follows diet, GLP-1R agonists, and bariatric surgery interventions. medscape.com/viewarticle/wh…

If you think the wait for a regular doctor visit is long & frustrating, try an “urgent” care clinic on a Saturday. Been waiting >90 minutes despite making a “reservation.” I have tix for an 8pm show. If I leave without being seen I forfeit the $50 copay since they took my BP. 🤬

Insurance company sent letter in April saying I need prior authorization by July 1 for a product I've been using for 2 years without prior auth. I send the letter to my doctor. Her office tries but is told it's too soon to initiate, have to wait till late June. 🤦‍♀️

This happens to me all the time, just one of the many complex aspects of management. The correction factor is a pump setting for giving 1 unit of insulin to lower blood sugar by x amount. It's a guess. The answer here is up, because you want less insulin. Got it?

A conference classic

The 'it's more of a comment than a question' which follows each talk where the ' questioner' tells everyone that they are right and the speaker is wrong

There WILL be two sessions you really want to be at, which are on at exactly the same time
