That any dual use component sent to China could easily end up in a Russian or North Korean missile (or a North Korean missile fired by Russia into Ukraine) should be obvious by now rather than treated as some sort of claim or speculation.

The defense industrial base atrophied over decades. We spend ~3% of GDP on defense and 25% is for personnel. Anyone who blames the “military industrial complex” when normal Americans support ramping up weapons production is telling on themselves.*

The Military Industrial Complex conspiracy theory doesn't really make sense if you have a basic understanding of market structures.

The relationship between military contractors and the government is monopsonistic - essentially several firms trying to compete for 1 customer.
