Fire broke out at a Rohingya refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, at around 11am on Friday, destroying 250 houses. The blaze is presumed to have started at office of a local NGO. At least 5 people were injured, but there have been no reported casualties.

May 24, 24– A fire broke out at 10:50 AM in Camp 13, destroying an NGO office & around 250 shelters. The blaze, which also consumed a mosque & 2 learning centers, left over 1,000 people homeless. The fire was controlled by 1 PM. Authorities are investigating the cause.
