We were honored to speak at the Elkins Rotary Club meeting this past Monday! Our team shed light on the critical work happening at MFB and emphasized the significance of community involvement in tackling hunger in WV.

As January comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on 2023.

With the support of our communities, we distributed 23 million pounds, translating to 18 million meals served to our neighbors 🧡

Fresh produce, big smiles! 🥦🍅🥕

Yesterday, we hosted our first free Produce Choice Market of 2024 in Cross Lanes, serving over 380 individuals.

Our team had a great day at the State Capitol for Hunger Free West Virginia Day!

We were able to connect with key lawmakers on discussions around hunger in our state.

A big thank you to the incredible team from Jan Dils Law Office for braving the snowy weather on Martin Luther King Day to volunteer at our Rock Branch warehouse. ❄️🙌🏻

We recently partnered with our friends at Horizon Farm Credit to make a $15,000 to the Mountaineer Food Bank. The Mountaineer Food Bank is the largest emergency food provider in WV, distributing over 17 million meals to food-insecure families annually. Learn more: bit.ly/47ukvuE

Our team was grateful to be part of 'Shop with a Cop’ yesterday evening!

28 amazing kids had a blast shopping with State Police officers, county police, firefighters, and local EMS. We joined in by distributing food boxes to families.

We’d like to introduce Gary O'Brien! 🎉

Every month he takes an entire day to deliver food boxes to veterans across Clay County.

Gary is a Vietnam veteran himself and when asked where his motivation comes from, he simply replied with a smile, 'because I can.' ❤️

Everyone should have access to the food and resources they need to thrive. Thanks to a grant made possible by the generosity of CVS Health we can feed more of our West Virginia neighbors and provide nutritious meals to those who rely on us to fill the gap.

Diversified Energy and Mountaineer Food Bank have once again partnered in the Touchdown for Turkeys program to give back to our local community 🦃

Thanks to Diversified, for every touchdown the WVU Football Team scored this season, they pledged 6 turkeys. With 44 touchdowns, that's 264 turkeys, but guess what? Diversified went above and beyond, donating a whopping 500 turkeys, nearly doubling their commitment! 🎉🦃
