As the President Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association , i would like to congratulate team Uganda for emerging 2nd at the @isfsports World Schools Cross-Country Championship held in Kenya over the weekend.

Uganda will compete at the @isfsports World Cross-Country Championship which sets pace today in Nairobi, Uganda is the defending champion having won it in Slovakia 🇸🇰 last year.

We are happy with the performance of the capacity building referees who were in charge of the games in Masaka and Luwero. 27 of the referees in Masaka were our capacity building products who we trained,this is a big achievement.

'The Freshdairyug girls football championship was postponed because some players of the teams that had reached the quarter finals were summoned for the national team. A new date will be communicated and they will compete for the title and also select teams to represent Uganda at

'Three teams have just come from Serbia for the @isfsports world volleyball championship, our athletics team will travel to Nairobi Kenya for the ISF cross country on Friday 10th and five teams will represent Uganda for the ISF world football championship in China.'

'We cannot use MRI to trap these ineligible players because it's expensive and secondly our games are for under 20 whereby MRI works on children below the age of 17. So we shall continue to use LIN , NIRA, FIFA connect and our own system' Justus Mugisha , USSSA President

'About our championships we do zonal screening at the zonal qualifiers helped by the USSSA Secretariat, before nationals, we do pre championship screening and the physical screening at the venue before games kick off, however schools have gone on to manipulate student's documents
