We moved! Human Resources (HR) and Code Enforcement have switched places! HR is back on the second floor of City Hall (204 Ash St) and Code is on the second floor of the Peck Center (510 S 10th St).

Fernandina Beach City Manager Ty Ross, after due consideration, resigned from the City’s employ, effective Friday December 15, 2023. The City Commission has since appointed Deputy City Manager/Engineer Charles L. George, P.E., as interim, effective December 16, 2023.

In Honor of Florida's Personal Responsibility month, FBHS Leadership class and the City's Youth Advisory Council invited the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections office to run a Voter Registration Drive. Volunteers came during lunch to get students signed up. Great job, YAC!!

At its Special Meeting, the City Commission unanimously endorsed Ty Ross as the next City Manager. Staff will begin negotiating an employment agreement, which the City Commission will subsequently approve at a future date.
