The ‘CS-Engage Dufatanye’ project is made possible with the support of Swiss Development and Cooperation with an aim of strengthening CSOs capacity to influence policy processes (development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation) in socioeconomic spheres. The consortium consists of 6 CSOs.

This afternoon, women from CS-Engage Dufatanye Consortium gathered at NAR offices for a 'Confidence Building Session' led by UNICEF's Country Representative to Rwanda, Julianna Lindsey, where they shared experiences on leadership, failure, and women's workplace expectations.

Today, we signed a grant with Norwegian People's Aid Rwanda in a consortium with Never Again Rwanda, and Transparency International Rwanda.

Working with #Rwanda ’s CSOs, the  🇬🇧’s new programme ‘Indi Ntambwe mu Kwiyubakira Igihugu’ will support citizen participation in 🇷🇼.

This week, cell assemblies in Rugarama and Gahunga sectors engaged 546 citizens. During the gathering, local leaders addressed citizen's concerns including, the destruction caused by Muhabura mountain water, health insurance payments and preparations for the upcoming elections.

Citizen Forums are conducted under our DKI project, where we promote participatory local governance, fostering collaboration between citizens and leaders through monthly meetings to address unresolved issues in the community, promoting inclusive decision-making and engagement.

partnered with us to host a football competition between Kigoma and Mukingo, as part of their project engaging youth in community decision-making processes, as well as a campaign promoting volunteerism and ensuring correct information on voter lists.

#NARPartnerships Earlier this week Ardho Rwanda, under our support to CSOs/CBOs in strengthening policy development processes in Rwanda, held a community dialogue in Kimonyi Sector, where they tackled family peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

We are attending a National Dialogue organized by CLADHO, discussing and validating findings from a rapid assessment on E-Titles, and challenges in accessing digitalized services, current land transfer fees, and citizen awareness on cost and accessibility of Irembo services.

This week in Rusizi District, we held a Community Radio Dialogue on Social Protection Programs, attended by around 3000 participants and key stakeholders including the Mayor, Dr. Anicet Kibiriga, who emphasized citizen engagement for social transformation. #CommunityEngagement

Yesterday Never Again Rwanda through DGG-GIZ, organized a community radio dialogue in @Burera. The aim was to increase awareness within the community on the delivery of social protection programmes. The Mayor of @Burera was also present to address the public and listen to the citizens.

Governance Fellows under our Social Protection project met today during a quarterly reflection meeting in Musanze District to review obstacles, share best practices and strategies to deliver social protection services, leading to community engagement and poverty alleviation.

Our Women Inspire Forums, are spaces created for women to seek mutual support, skill-building and inspiration from their peers. Through the forums, women share experiences, insights and challenges that are unique to them, providing the space to build confidence among participants

We are honored to be among those attending ‘Ku Gicaniro’ (Bonfire), a gathering organized by Peace and Love Proclaimers PLP to commemorate the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, and educate youth on preventing genocide from ever recurring.
