Community is chock full of blink-and-you'll-miss-it jokes, but my favorite might be that faculty negotiated for a ten minute head start before the students at the career fair. >_<

Did you enjoy Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie, if yes, I'd love to understand why. I think it was too unlike anything I'd read before. Now that I've gone through the fire, I'm enjoying the second book considerably more.

I believe in writing rules, but I also recall that Tolkein is the highest selling author of all time and he breaks basically ALL the rules: slow start, confusing names, made up languages, random poetry! to name just a few.
