Male seen by aircraft acting suspiciously in the #Catford Lewisham MPS area. Stopped by nearby units and found in possession of this rather large knife. Arrested.

Both charged (assault by beating & possessing a bladed article) and both remanded in custody to go straight to court! 👌👍

Assisted in the #Whetstone Barnet MPS | North West BCU area yesterday searching for a suspect after a pursuit. Located by the aircraft. He was wanted on recall to prison & believed involved in a series of burglaries. Burglar ‘tool kit’ in car. One less burglar on the streets and back to prison👌

Whilst flying back to base in Enfield MPS crew saw a male assaulting a female in the street, which transpired to be a domestic assault. 2 males made off, tracked by us. Units guided in, one discarded a knife. Both arrested.

Crew tasked yesterday to the Rotherhithe area searching for 2 robbery suspects on electric bikes involved in a series of phone snatches. Located by us and tracked to an address & arrested. Southwark Police | Central South BCU

The Police Helicopter assisted Police Scotland South Lanarkshire this evening with the search for a vulnerable male. The male was located safe and well by the crew and talked police on the ground to his position. A great piece of teamwork to bring about a succesful conclusion. #KeepingPeopleSafe

Volunteer crew paged at 9.18 am today to assist Richmond Police search for a suspected person in the water. Thanks NPAS London for their help & the rather grainy but interesting photo of our lifeboat taken during the search. If you see someone in trouble around the water dial 999.

On Xmas Day 2022 we were involved in a vehicle pursuit with a serial burglar who had targeted properties across east London. He has since been jailed for six years.
