History of the mascot for Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD:

1927: The Wolf Mascot Skipper first appeared as a live dog wearing a cape. Skipper also was Northern assistant coach Bob Campbell’s pet dog, see photo below.

1954: Waldo the Wolf was named the Northern mascot.

Entitlement destroys influence and culture.
