Welcome to Logan Faulkner who joins us from Crowley Group.
The third Otago Uni person in our group plus Preston sharing the lab means the Dunedin takeover is pretty much complete.
Former PhD student Chriso's epic struggle to make functionalised and/or low symmetry organic cages is now out in Supramolecular Chemistry.
Some interesting molecules/crystal structures, but sadly yields are...er...not great.
Do you like pillararenes? What about ones with extra substituents at the 'belt' positions?
Honours student Zeke dreamt these up a while ago, postdoc Jordan figured out the complicated stereochemistry, and Katie Wilson provided computational wizardry: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

You can put cubane and bicyclopentane in hydrogen bonded frameworks, and they still absorb (a lot of) water vapour.
Congrats to first author Petch Muang-Non, and Carmen Zhou.

My 'creative' colleague Jamie Hicks has invented a new way to rotate NMR tubes. Full marks for innovation.
My paper on anionic hydrogen bonded frameworks that can undergo cation exchange and selectively remove dyes from water!
Thank you Adrian and Christian from theUniversity of Adelaide for the ligands, and my supervisor Nick White for all the help and support!
We are advertising a postdoc looking at supramolecular chem, guest binding, coordination chem, and catalysis in organic cages jointly with Annie Colebatch:

Decent salaries, good working conditions and hopefully interesting science!
Happy to answer Qs
We would like to officially welcome Cally Haynes and Nick White as new associate editors of Supramolecular Chemistry. They will be joining @brucecgibb as main editors, and replace Phil Gale in the editorial team.
