The mountains and tropical valleys of Fiji’s Nausori Highlands provided the ideal grounds for jungle warfare and weapons training during Ex Cartwheel 23.

A contingent of 92 New Zealand Army personnel took part in the exercise, led by Republic of Fiji Military Forces and U.S. Army Pacific.

This month, soldiers from 2CSSB have been working alongside U.S. Army's 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division in O'ahu, Hawaii undertaking observation of tactical sustainment to combat operations on Ex Bronco Rumble.
