Welcoming 5 new officers last night carried a somber undertone as we shared a moment of reflection for the heroes of Burnsville. Their courage and sacrifice resonate deeply, leaving an indelible mark on our community's spirit. Rest peacefully!

The festival of nations at Susan Lindgren was amazing collection of live performances, like Somali dance and Chinese Lions, activities henna and face painting, and food samples from around the world!

It was so great to see Nadia Mohamed, her leadership serves as an inspiration. So proud to see barriers broken by a fellow Minnesotan!

I met with Nadia Mohamed today, the new mayor of St. Louis Park. She will be a valuable partner in serving the people of Minnesota and I’m excited to work with her!

Started the day subbing at Concord Elementary in Edina Schools 😊. Ended the day with Mayor Nadia Mohamed and a group of wonderfully engaged St Louis Park folks at The Elmwood. Thank you for all the great conversation!
