A green-fingered afternoon in Stoke! Sally Cresswell checked out the new wildlife corridor behind The Village Hub whilst I planted trees in Devonport Park’s community orchard. Lovely to chat with local volunteers, youth groups and Plymouth City Council staff all getting stuck in together.

We’re asking residents and businesses to share their views on draft plans for providing further EV charging points in the city.

Four weeks ago, a pair of Eurasian beavers were released into our re-wilding enclosure at Poole Farm.

The pair have been quietly settling into their new home and have already started to make changes to the landscape.

As part of National Tree Week we are celebrating the recent launch of our Community Tree Nursery at Poole Farm 🌳

The Community Tree Nursery allows residents/volunteers to come and get their hands dirty, grow trees from seeds, help to care for them through the winter.

We're planting 3,500 trees across Plymouth this winter.

Made up of a mixture of whips, maiden fruit trees and established standards, the schedule will be based over 30 different sites across the city.
