Today marks the National Day of Mourning for Persons Injured or Killed in the workplace. Along with the labour community, today we emphasize our continued commitment to advocating for the rights and dignity of all workers.

On April 28, we observe the annual National Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace, a day dedicated to honouring the memory of those who have lost their lives, suffered injuries, or faced illness due to work-related tragedies.

This week I was delighted to attend the #BlackBrilliance Conference in #ScarbTO and bring greetings on behalf of the #TDSB Trustees! It was amazing to be amongst Black youth leaders from many high schools! Packed auditorium with loads of energy, hope, inspiration & drive!
