“Plymouth’s claims to fame are limited”. Are they? Mayflower/Armada launch/naval links/Smeaton’s Tower/Tom Daley etc etc… Not compared to other c.250k cities.

i newspaper Nigel Morris Not sure why people are so angry at the appearance of this story. Morris isn’t endorsing the idea: but it’s valid news that Tory MPs think that way. The article pours a lot of cold water on it. It’s certainly not pro-Conservative.
