We had a blast playing Jeopardy with Greater West Town Project focused on employment readiness! Thanks to The Boeing Company for organizing and providing lunch and for being a partner who believes in the sustainability of our mission for peace and creating a safer city for us all.

Les was nervous about going back to school, but he faced his anxiety and stuck with College Unbound courses. In just one year, combined with his lived experiences, he has 80 credits and is excited to eventually graduate with his bachelor's degree.

We train FLIP Peacekeepers to use cognitive behavioral interventions in their own daily lives. They can then model the skills in the community while monitoring hotspots—passing on what they’ve learned to others who have experienced similar trauma and helping make the city safer.

FLIP (FlatLining violence Inspires Peace) workers are Peacekeepers! They put down their guns, and monitor the most violent locations in the city to help decrease tensions and establish nonaggression agreements. They put their wellbeing at risk to build safer communities. 💪🏾❤️☮️

When a shooting occurs, victim advocates ensure immediate and long-term needs are being met, and provide mentoring and nonviolence training to help prevent retaliation shootings. They are an essential part in Chicago’s plan to end gun violence.
