A major slip on the New South Eau being repaired.

Another victim of the wet winter being brought back into shape. The soil profile at this location with layers of clay interspersed with sand has historically led to problems with bank slippage and collapse.

Another day and another blockage cleared!

Someone decided to take advantage of our recent road closure to come down French Drove and deposit their waste. Thankfully they secured the load well enough so that we were able to remove in one piece without losing any of the load! Every cloud has a silver lining!

Lots of unmaintained dykes and ditches around Tydd St Giles. All the ones maintained by the North Level I.D.B. are flowing well and these ought to be flowing into those ditches. Not sure who they belong to but the Environment Agency must have powers to get them cleared out.

North Level I.D.B. The North Level main drain at Sandy Lane Bridge has a large accumulation of weed behind a boom that is smelling rotten. The ducks etc have to walk on it to get along the water course. Please can this be cleaned up.
