IMO numbers play a key role in controlling vessels at sea and helping authorities to prevent illegal fishing.
We urge General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean to make this identification information compulsory for all vessels longer than 12 metres since currently it's not.

33 years ago, today, Cabrera Archipelago in the Spanish Mediterranean was designated as a #NationalPark . This biodiversity hotspot still lacks adequate protection and management. It is urgent to ban all industrial activities from this natural paradise and establish no-take zones.
