Yesterday I had the privilege to visit the Scots DG LAD. An ace team who have achieved great success recently.

Not least a Defence Chief Scientific Advisor Award for Engineering and a MG REME Commendation for Sgt Haylock awarded at their awesome Burns Night. 👏

A former Apprentice (1977-79), Geordie has long been at the heart of the Corps Family, most recently as the REME Assoc Development Officer.

A fabulous week at the REME REME Alpine and Snowboard Champs in Stubai ended yesterday.

After 2 weeks of training beforehand, the racers were great. All enabled by amazing hill staff who are still thawing out and great coaches.

The REME Calendar 2024 is now out. The winner of the competition is this brilliant photo on the front cover depicting a very wet recovery task.
The £250 prize award goes to 5 Bn REME, with credit for the photo going to Lts Turner and Kayani.
