I was born in the diaspora almost 50 years ago.

My parents couldn't raise me in Palestine, so they raised Palestine in me.

That's what we all do, every generation.... we nurture that love for Palestine, for life.

We will never stop. We will never be erased.

If politicians were annoyed at our constant calls, emails, and advocacy over the past few months, our silence should worry them even more when they realize we've finally given up on them completely.

This will be the scene across the country as university commencements take place. And it’ll stay that way for as long as the genocide continues.

I am so sick of the moral panic about everything but killing people.

tonight has been chaos. a needless escalation by a university administration who would let NYPD brutalize students instead of listening to our demands. shame on columbia university and shame on minouche shafik.

An army. Literally an army. For a group of kids who have made no threats, are doing nothing violent, and who everyone agrees are unarmed.

“Please stop killing people”
is not an extreme position.

Seeing the cops violently breaking up peaceful college protests all over the country has me thinking: We have too many cops! What the heck are they all doing the rest of the time? 🤷🏻
