On May 1st, 2004 Poland, along with 🇨🇾 🇨🇿 🇪🇪 🇱🇹 🇱🇻 🇲🇹 🇸🇰 🇸🇮 🇭🇺, became a member of the European Union.

#OTD , on a bridge in the town of Słubice, the foreign ministers of 🇵🇱 Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz and 🇩🇪 Joschka Fischer welcomed Poland into the 🇪🇺.
