Today, we say a fond farewell to Sergeant Andrew Park, who leaves Police Scotland after 19 years of service. His unquestionable hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm made him popular with his colleagues and the new officers he supervised. We wish him all the best for the future.

Course 01/24 heard from our colleagues in PPCW today, who delivered an input on Policing in a Diverse Society.

This lesson enhances the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) package that the Probationers receive during their Initial Training Course.

The Probationers were introduced into legislation and their associated powers.

Course 01/24 have started their first day of our new CARES training package.

The three day course focuses on communication, de-escalation and engagement.

The new recruits from Course 01/24 are the first to receive this newly designed product.

Course 03/23 were taught the final parade manoeuvres at their latest Drill lesson.

The Probationers will now rehearse this before performing for family and friends at a Passing Out Parade in three weeks time.

Instructors from Probationer Training hosted an icebreaker for Course 01/24 this evening.

The staff volunteer their time to host the event, providing interactive exercises and the opportunity for the new recruits to meet others from their own Division's.

This morning, 116 new Probationers arrived at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan, ready to begin their Initial Training Course.

They will form Course 01/24, who will overlap with the current intake of Probationers.
