Interesting so many are saying PGA & LIV should merge to form a single world tour, like the ATP Tour in tennis. Except the reason far more golfers make far more money than tennis players is because they have regional Tours, with far more jobs. Golfers, be careful what you want 😉

Alcaraz, on his 5th match point, takes out gallant Struff. The clay court mastery by Alcaraz, his mixing of offence with defence, innate understanding of the nuances of light and shade (especially in this stadium!), with a dollop of over exuberance, is some sight. What a match!

Saddened by passing of Brian Tobin, former Pres of Tennis Australia & ITF. He co-led establishment of Melbourne Park, home of the AO. Brian had a top wife Carmen, fine wit, integrity & was great company…only oddity was dislike of cuisine with ‘anything which can fly’. RIPBrian
