Here we go again. Some ill-defined threat to one cathedral’s choir and the whole establishment is up in arms, articles in CT and newspapers, ‘loss of family life’ etc. And of countless parish churches, family life lost by dismantling of choirs for decades? Not a peep. Sigh.

We should all be worked up about the loss of parish choirs. The base of the pyramid.
