But to be honest, with exceptional faculty colleagues and students, Computer Science at UT Austin feels like -- and deserves to be -- a top 5 department 🙂

Run, don't walk, to get your applications in to be AAAS AI fellow to work in Congress on AI policy. I'm not normally so effusive, but I am *so glad* I took this job. In just the first 6 months, my world view and research agenda has updated significantly.

This paper: arxiv.org/pdf/2403.11940… is making an important point related to the tutorial (bit.ly/agentstate ) that Alex and I did at ICML. You really need forward dynamics on top of a multistep inverse model to fully capture an agent's endogenous dynamics.
