New experimental results out today with collaborators from Quantum Technology Laboratory! We measure the long sought-after cubic phase state that is obtained by applying the cubic Hamiltonian x³ to an initial squeezed state, by engineering the cubic gate explicitly! scirate.com/arxiv/2308.153… (1/7)
New preprint out today with Trond Hjerpekjøn and Raphaël Van Laer, Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology - WACQT Chalmers University of Technology: ”Quantum resource states from heralded microwave-optical Bell pairs”. arxiv.org/abs/2308.14173
Enjoyed giving updates on scaling up superconducting QPU in multi-pronged approaches by various EU partners! Thanks Mikel Sanz and OpenSuperQPlus for organising this! cc. Jonas Bylander Quantum Technology Laboratory Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology - WACQT
Refrigerators are very useful. What about quantum refrigerators? Can they be useful? We built one Quantum Technology Laboratory that is!

To our knowledge, this is the first demo of a practical quantum thermal machine.
New preprint out today with my postdoc Jorge Fernández-Pendás and the experimental group Quantum Technology Laboratory Chalmers University of Technology Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology - WACQT OpenSuperQPlus: ”Mitigation of frequency collisions in superconducting quantum processors”, arxiv.org/abs/2303.04663 (1/6)
Researchers at Quantum Technology Laboratory Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology - WACQT demonstrate a three-wave mixing, traveling-wave parametric amplifier with near-quantum-limited noise, 20 dB gain and 1 GHz 3-dB bandwidth between 4-8 GHz to detect signals at the few-photon level.

New paper with the amazing Juan Felipe Carrasquilla Álvarez and Nathan Killoran from Xanadu. Read on to find how a tussle between Fermat and Descartes can help us compute interesting quantum mechanical quantities, create entangled quantum states and perform hyperparameter tuning of QML algorithms ..
ConScience and Quantum Technology Laboratory are working on scaled qubit production to 4-inch wafer to facilitate commercial adoption of quantum technologies.
Here we present our first successful 4-inch Qubit wafer (proprietary designs blurred).
