In our preprint, we borrowed some photons from Quandela to tackle a test bed reinforcement learning (RL) task in which finding the optimal strategy is conditional to using quantum effects. 🧵

The natural quantization of PS involves replacing the random walk with a quantum walk. In its quantum optical version, the decision-making process consists of a single photon passing through a quantum optical setup. In our case, we use Quandela QPU. 🔦
