In our final RCSI StAR MD review session today we heard about ongoing research into stroke, epilepsy, asthma, long covid, surgical skills training & new technologies for glucose monitoring. Thanks to all presenters and to all those who attended or chaired todays sessions

In our second StAR MD review session today we heard really exciting updates on research into ideopathic pulmonary fibrosis, neurosurgery, breast cancer, surgical antibiotic prophylaxis and excercise and nutrition supplementation in end stage kidney disease.

We heard 6-month updates from some of our StAR MD scholars this morning on various topics including , colorectal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer screening, ACL injuries, surgical skills training and colorectal surgery. Well done all on the fantastic work!
