We were thrilled here RGS Worcester to be a part of todays special royal visit to our city as The Queen landed & departed from our playing fields. A pleasure to wave hello before she made her way to the Cathedral for the Maundy Thursday service & to say goodbye at the end too.

Huge thanks to Craig Thompson for an excellent INSET session on Showbie here at RGS Worcester today!

We learned that:
✅ Screen record now works with mirroring (perfect for recording & sharing teaching)
✅ Socrative has been supercharged with #AI
✅ Showbie is still awesome

RGS riders success at Rectory Farm: Jessica secured 10th place and Tori 16th in the 80/85 qualifier. Hannah secured 14th place in the 90cm qualifier.
Lily, Isabel and Charlie won the dressage qualifier at King's Equestrian securing their spot at the Nationals #RGSWorcester

Good luck to our 1st VII and 2nd VII for today's Superball at the University of Worcester Arena. The 2nd VII match begins at at 3.45. This is followed by the 1st VII at 6.00.

Introducing our 1st VII Netball Captain Izzy Thompson.
Izzy first attended Superball as an RGS The Grange pupil and enjoyed a Superball Netball Coaching session before the match, now she is taking part in her third Superball on Saturday.

On Thursday, pupils from St George's Church of England Primary School joined us at RGS Worcester today for a fun Multi-sports lesson. 🏃‍♂️

In preparation for today's Droitwich & Worcester City Secondary School’s Swimming Gala, Dr Geoff Lovell, Sports Psychologist delivered an assembly on ‘Competition Strategies for Success’. Geoff has extensive experience with Great Britain's Paralympic and Olympic Teams.
