Mayday at RSPB Burton Mere ,warm sun great birding Cheshire & Wirral Ornithological Society RSPB Chester Cheshire Wildlife Trust RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers Whitby Naturalists 3 white storks :fly over, garganey - male ,zipping from site to site, whinchat and wheatear on the point.And passerines galore,see below.
The main #sightings for today have been: Whinchat, Wheatear, Spotted Redshank, Ruff, Dunlin, Cattle Egret, Swift & Little Gull. #MondayMotivation
It's been a brilliant Spring day on the reserve with Little Gull, Red Kite and 12 Whimbrel all being seen. Grasshopper Warblers could be heard calling, whilst a Yellowhammer was heard singing near the entrance to the reserve. #sightings
