Brilliant news from Newbury BT

All 3 chicks were colour-ringed today by Jason Fathers and all are female. Many thanks to Dean Cleal at CBRE

Lack of news was due to the nestcam battery dying. Luckily a few pics came through to help

A Berks tick and lifer for me this week. The short-staying Blue-winged Teal, found by Andy Merrick at Chamberhouse Marsh on Friday showed a lot of interest in the Garganey to its left, largely ignored by the Garganey drake to its right.
