Really good to finally see a United Nations resolution on this. We at University of Glasgow have been calling on humanitarian grounds for a ceasefire and the unconditional release of all hostages since last November- the first U.K. university to do so. It took far too long to get even to this point.
Academics in Ukraine & Scotland are launching a mass crowdsourcing project to help record conflict heritage & testimonies of people impacted by the war.
War_spoke_to_us is led by the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy & Scottish Centre - War Studies/Conflict Archaeology.

Delighted to award Dr Tedros, the DG of World Health Organization (WHO), an honorary doctorate from University of Glasgow.
His inspiring speech to our students and colleagues illustrated clearly how essential the work of the WHO is to humanity. We at University of Glasgow will do our utmost to support their crucial work.
An incredibly inspirational evening with University of Glasgow’s newest Honorary Graduate, the remarkable Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, DG of World Health Organization (WHO), who tonight, alongside Gordon Brown, reinforced the importance of principles, peace, and collective action.
