Christmas came early this week! A Rapido Trains Inc. ex CPR D10, the Credit Valley Railway #1057 has finally arrived!!! The very first steam engine I rode behind on a steam excursion as a child with my Dad! This engine has been a long time coming, Thanks to CreditValleyRailway for making it!! #FEF

Just passed 2 years with my Rapido Trains Inc. Comet cars. So far, running smoothly. Slight modifications to the couplers to adapt them to my 22' curves. Also added figures inside. The seats are painted like the real thing - maroon and dark blue.

Props to Rapido Trains Inc. for their D10’s performance! Hauled a good 46 loaded cars up and over a 2.5% grade while doing a scale speed of 65 mph without traction tires and no wheel slip!
