He does not mention China barely relies on the U.S. for its EV sales (thanks to President Trump's Section 301 tariffs) and will simply manufacture vehicles in Mexico, then ship them into the U.S.

If Joe Biden were smart like Donald J. Trump , he would:

1) raise 200% tariffs on Mexico (and any other country) teeing up China's pathway to selling their EVs to the U.S. from their country to evade his pre-existing tariffs

2) tariff the REFINED Chinese critical minerals

Biden's bogus tariff announcement today will do nothing to the Chinese economy.

Want to know why? Donald J. Trump already had nearly banned all Chinese automobiles of all kinds (gas and EV) since 2018. We don't even import Chinese EVs, either, thanks to DJT.
