As we drove along the wee road home, as it skirts Loch Sheildaig, what should greet us but a big, boisterous squall.

Gusting to a little over 55mph at the moment but there's a storm coming... and it looks like she just hoisted her mainsail... the islands have disappeared.

Bog myrtle hollow on the hill. Filled with the richest, cathedral-scale incense and eye-aching colour.

If any of you are in the area, I hope you can drop in and have a look around. Also if you can make the opening on 11th May, it would be great to get to chat too. Also featuring work from David Queenan & Grant Bulloch at Smithy Gallery 11th May - 1st June
Truly the most delightful afternoon meeting Annie O'Garra Worsley, seeing her beautiful nature restoration and ancient byre, and talking all manner of shared fascinations, frustrations & joys ! Thank you Annie 💚
It was wonderful to welcome the remarkable Dr. Rebecca Wragg Sykes today! We talked Neanderthals, crofting, writing, academia, rewilding, medieval crucks, planting trees, holidays & family. Then with great joy & laughter, we watched the 1st sand martin, home at last, swoop about our heads.
