Today, I introduced the East Palestine Health Impact Monitoring Act to conduct proper research through HHS to identify any long-term health impacts from the tragedy now and in the future.

While no amount of money can undo the damage done to the East Palestine, Ohio community, this settlement holds Norfolk Southern accountable for their actions.

We must continue to work to prevent another incident like this from happening again in any corner of our country.

Today, we began the House Appropriations FY25 markups with the Military Construction-Veterans Affairs Subcommittee.

In the bill, I fought to fund veterans’ healthcare, the VA, and benefit programs. Those who fought for our country deserve the best care when they return home.

Even the Supreme Court knows there is no such thing as cancelling student loans.

If you take out a loan, you need to pay it back.

That is not the responsibility of American taxpayers, especially those who did not go to college.

84% of Americans say their financial situation is either worse or much worse compared to last year. This is a result of Biden’s disastrous economic agenda.

As an appropriator, I will continue to work to cut wasteful spending & put the US back on a track of fiscal responsibility.
