I am deeply saddened, and frankly angered, by the shooting this afternoon in Parkside. As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, my Muslim brothers and sisters deserve to celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Fitr peacefully and safely. My prayers for those impacted.

Last night at the 4th annual Iftar hosted by Anton Moore and co-sponsors was a pleasure to be apart of. Allowing for religious freedom, supporting a big religious component of our community and being welcomed is all apart of the Philly melting pot.

Provided was 🥬, kale, 🍞 , 🥒 , 🫑, 🥭, snacks & other goods to take 🏡 by Jordan A. Harris. It's truly amazing how we come together no matter the differences. Thank you to the multiple entities including our Insp. Taylor that helped service our community in a different way.
