CMS has approved the second component of my Medicaid reimbursement reform plan.

This will result in an additional $160 million for hospitals across Mississippi, which is $23 million more than originally projected.

If y’all want to work in a truly rural area and evoke change: we need you.

People have a lot of bias when it comes to who provides care in rural America.

Many of those same people have never stepped foot in a truly rural critical access hospital.

And those same people are too often who decide what happens to patients living in rural areas.

PRO TIP: if you’re a doctor stuck inside for the eclipse you can still experience 4 minutes of total darkness by scheduling a peer review call with a colleague outside your specialty who denies one of your patients the treatment they need
