Ahead of today’s Immigration Committee Hearing on “The Experiences of Black Migrants in New York City”— I attended Chair Alexa Avilés’ rally with colleagues in government and over 1,000 people & advocates to uplift the stories of Black Migrants in our city.🗽🌍

Kawaski Trawick should be alive today and Edward A. Caban’s decision to not deliver on the principle of accountability is shameful.

Our 5 borough town halls are coming to an end soon, we only have Manhattan & Queens left. Hope to see you all there!
