How do you research History when you're no longer at University? With the help of you folks, I compiled this list. Happy researching.

(Plus! Bonus picture of my sister's cat looking utterly happy to be exactly where he is in the preview picture.)

Can’t speak highly enough of the course as an alum. Gave me a much better appreciation of how science actually works and its role in society; something that has only become more important.

I did the ancestor programme to this degree back in the day, and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to teach some students on the current programme where they’ve selected my UoM UCIL course ‘Science, Technology and Democracy’. It’s a great programme!

For the last few years I have been co-running this degree The University of Manchester. Unique in the UK, it gives students a mixture of up to date biology and the historical and sociological context to that science. Above all, it trains students to think, and to write. Sixth-formers! Join us!

I contributed a short essay to this special edition, on the British Council’s soft power in the ‘developing world’ after decolonisation (pp.72-80). Great to see it out and I’m excited to read the rest of the diverse and interesting articles, centred on the theme of ‘Power’ 👇🏻

Does anyone’s institutional library have access to the *cover* of Nature Vol 248, 26 April 1974? Most bound copies seem to have had the covers ripped out by the binders. This issue had a cartoon of Watson and Crick on the cover. Please RT.
